Went out to Christmas dinner with some friends and had a wonderful time. The food is definitely expensive and the wait staff was just a tad overenthusiastic, but they did a fantastic job of making sure we had everything we needed. The meal was as close to perfect as I have had and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. Everything was clean, and well cared for, the staff was polite and knowledgeable, and the ambience was soothing and comfortable. I would highly recommend as a spot for special occasions, or an intimate setting without the stress of many other restaurants.

The Wild Rose is a hidden gem of a restaurant in the District Shopping Center of South Jordan. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable for the guests. The service is attentive and helpful! The food we ordered was prepared so well! We truly enjoyed our dining experience here! We’ve eaten at this restaurant many times, and it’s consistently terrific!

The Wild Rose in South Jordan hit me with a culinary spatula to the face, it was so good I almost cried into my fish. Food was literally amazing, and the service could have convinced me I was royalty. But then I wandered into the bathroom and things started unraveling, suddenly I was transported back to the golden age of junior high restrooms, where tile grout dreams go to die. The finishes around the dining room looked like someone’s cousin, who once finger painted a macaroni project, was given free rein with a Home Depot credit card. Honestly, the vibe screamed “I studied architecture in preschool, got a participation ribbon, and now I design restaurants.” It’s like Michelangelo painted the food, but the interior design committee was led by a toddler with a sugar rush and a glitter obsession. Still, I’m convinced that you should come for the food, stay for the service, just don’t make eye contact with the décor or you might lose your appetite.

Great portion sizes and good service! This has been on my list of places to try, and I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the steam little neck clams, chopped salad, Tecumseh Farms Free Range Chicken, New Zealand Elk Chops, and the Creme Brulee. I'm glad they offered complimentary bread cuz they're not included with the clams, lol. I think they gave us 2 orders, and the bread went amazing well with the clams. I'm a big fan of dipping the bread in the buttery sauce! I really enjoyed the elk. There are only a few steak houses that I can say are absolutely epic, and the elk from this restaurant is on that list! It was cooked properly (rare, of course), and so tender. I love gamey meats, so i always go for them when they're available. This one wasn't too gamey, but perfect.

The Wild Rose came to us via word of mouth and an incredible experience at one of its sister companies, Tiburon. Coming in with high expectations, we were met with something wonderful. Server: Eden An unassuming location, the spot does a decent job of separating itself from the surrounding businesses, allowing an ambiance all its own. Walking in, we were greeted with a host calling us out by name of our reservation without having to be asked. Professional staff members were everywhere and attentive. Coursing was great, with an excellent spread for their charcuterie board, fresh bread still warm from the oven, a delicious house butter, followed with a palate cleansing sorbet before entrées. The BBQ demi glace was the highlight of the pork belly, the grits pairing well with the pork, lightening up an otherwise heavy appetizer. The charcuterie board had a supple spread of cheese, meats, jam, honey, mustard, nuts and crostinis. The beef tenderloin was melting in the mouth, the wine sauce amply dressing the whole dish. The elk chops were packed with punchy flavor in every bite. Both cooked to temp perfectly. Food did not disappoint. Time, effort, and passion went into the making of each dish. Timing of the courses was well-planned and comfortable. Bottle service was perfect. Dinnerware was reset in between each course, elevating the dining experience beautifully. Table touches were well timed, without being smothered or forgotten. While all staff was attentive to our table, our server, Eden, was consistently on top of our needs. Criticisms: 1. Sides for the entrées are unimaginative. The majority have either mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes, with a clump of veggies on the side. Perhaps a victim of New American cuisine, pairings could be more involved. 2. I forget which staff member said this, but one mentioned, in passing, this place being "fine dining" as a joke, suggesting that it wasn't. While not quite fine dining, the standards upheld reach toward it, and a

An absolutely exquisite dining experience! I was floored by the flavors. From the atmosphere to the service and quality of food, this place is one of the best in Utah for fine dining. The beef tenderloin was insanely delicious and melted in my mouth. Every bite offered a distinct and advanced flavor profile; obviously the work of some very talented chefs. I will be back!

First time eating at the restaurant. It was our 46th wedding anniversary. We wanted to eat somewhere new for us. We throughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and the service. We were treated to courses throughout the meal. Every course you were provided new cutlery. The bread was warm, the meal moved from start to finish smoothly.

One of the best meals that me and my mom have shared! We had the mushroom ravioli and the lamb chops. The house salad is the way to go and don’t forget to get dessert! We got the chocolate almond torte.
